Many Causes of Plant Stress

Consider; the same watering practice for one plant may be in barely appropriate, just deep enough to cause the plant to survive. Yet, due to drainage or related soil conditions, that same watering has different results on a nearby plant. Drainage can change in as little as a four foot change of position. (top)

Good Diagnosis requires thorough questioning

In order to help solve a plant stress problem, we need to evaluate every one of the above issues. Most often there are several causes for the plants' stress. Only through a thorough evaluation of ALL these items can a horticulturist provide a good recommendation. Too little research means guessing.
